Transformations
“What is it? What do I see? Is it real?”
Monika’s photography takes the ordinary image and transforms it into something mysterious and sometimes mystical. Since 2005, Monika has been creating these transformations of light and form, abstractions that entice the viewer to look deeper, to question and wonder and to simply be enchanted by the images she has created.
Abstract photographic transformations are expressive of colour and form. Rather than being representative of reality, the images allow viewers to create their own interpretation and exploration and experience a personal emotional reaction.
All images are available in either limited edition prints or one-of-a-kind prints and sizes can be specified from 8 x 10 inches to 24 x 36, depending on the configuration of the image.
Hi Monika,
I bought 1 print of yours. It has a black background with a large white swirl with light lines. Hard to explain. It had your name on the back of it. Anyways, where might I be able to buy (interestingly, it doesn’t look good how it was meant to hang, we did it different) I need a print larger than 2-3ft.
