Paintings
Monika paints with a group of incredibly talented artists at Artspa. Throughout the year, they meet, create art in various styles and mediums and sometimes participate in collaborative projects in the community.
Monika’s first interest in painting and drawing has been portraits, sometimes stylized and often expressing intense emotion.
The beauty of the natural surroundings in Nova Scotia has more recently inspired paintings depicting nature. These are quite often very textural, almost three dimensional.
The paintings in this selection have been created in acrylic on canvas or mixed media. All paintings are available for rent or sale, framed or unframed.
