This is an interesting discussion about photography as art; what makes a photograph a work of art and the photographer an artist? Weigh in on this with your thoughts on the subject. When do you consider the photographer an artist? When is the work itself worthy of being considered art?

For me, I think the process of consideration in the creation of the work is important. What is the intention? What does the photographer feel and make you feel when you look upon the work? Does the work evoke something in the viewer, tell a story, make you think more deeply?

And yes, for me, a certain amount of skill in the final creation will (most times) play a factor.
