Summer Inspiration for Fall Exhibitions

Summer isn’t over yet, but already I am feeling the cooler temperatures set in and the itch to spend more time in the studio, a little less time swimming and kayaking and touring visitors around Nova Scotia. Living on a lake and near the Atlantic Ocean means that I’m just a tiny bit distracted by the opportunities to be a mermaid and play in the water. 🙂

But here’s the thing: I’ve got some shows coming up and it’s time to focus! “Phantasmagoria” will be my solo show happening in November at 14 Bells Fine Art Gallery in the Hydrostone area of Halifax. It’s going to be an exciting show with some surprises. So be sure to look for upcoming news for the opening of that show.

At Gallery 78 in Fredericton, a water themed exhibition is coming in October, just in time to get you in the mood for the beautiful change of seasons in the Maritimes, when everything changes practically from day to day, the sky, the trees and yes, the colour of the water! I’ll be sending four new works to the gallery for part of that group exhibition.

New works have also been sent to Crescent Hill Gallery in Mississauga. And don’t forget to browse my website for works still available. I’m happy to bundle up a beauty to ship to you wherever you live on this beautiful fragile planet!
