This 24 x 48 inch mixed media piece is painted on gallery profile wood panel. I haven’t poured the resin yet, and I’m debating whether all work should have it. The resin provides a high gloss finish, extra protection to the surface of the painting and vibrancy. The colours ‘pop’. But there is the issue of glare – sometimes. It’s like glass reflecting the light. To pour or not to pour the resin?
