‘The Steel Spirit’ Interview on YouTube

Sometimes chance opportunities lead to the most wonderful experiences. Barb Brown created ‘The Steel Spirit’ Artist Group, a group of Military and First Responders, past and present, who create art. They are people who have experienced a gret deal and have learned how to express that in their own unique ways through art. Barb suggested doing an interview and presentation with me about my abstract art and that turned into a fantastic conversation that she posted on YouTube.

An Interview with Monika Wright – Painting Emotions in Colour

Speaking with Barb on the initial video call convinced me to share my experience with the group. Her passion, professionalism and generosity with this project was evident from the start. She has developed an amazing program, curating artwork, events and inspiration. You can see it for yourself on “THE STEEL SPIRIT” website.

The connections we make in life, the memories we create together, those are the things that matter most. Expressing our experiences, our hopes and fears, our daily life through art makes us human. We are all unique, and yet, we are connected to one another. I’d love for you to take a look at both the video and The Steel Spirit website.

If you’d like to continue the conversation any time, please reach out to me at [email protected]. I’d love to hear from you. And feel free to Share with anyone who might be interested! Thank you for your encouragement and support.
